My journey into financial counseling began with a simple realization: money is deeply personal. It touches every part of our lives — our relationships, our health, our sense of security — yet so many of us were never taught how to have a healthy relationship with it.

As an Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) and a Certified Credit Report Reviewer, I specialize in helping individuals improve their financial well-being through budgeting, credit education, debt management, financial goal setting, and practical money management strategies. 

I believe financial education should be empowering, easy to understand, and tailored to each person's unique circumstances.

My passion for financial counseling has been shaped by both my professional career as accountant, tax specialist and my personal experiences.

When I moved to America after marrying a service member, I experienced firsthand what it feels like to start over in a new country. One of the biggest surprises I encountered was the importance of credit in American society. I quickly learned that a credit score impacts so many areas of life — from buying a home and purchasing a vehicle to accessing financial opportunities.

Because I was new to the United States, I had no credit history, no credit score, and limited purchasing power. I remember feeling frustrated and excluded from a system I did not yet understand. I wanted to be part of my new community, but I realized that I first needed to learn how the American financial system worked.

That experience became the foundation of my passion for financial education. I dedicated myself to learning about credit, personal finance, banking, and the tools needed to build financial stability in America. Through my own journey, I discovered the power of financial knowledge and how understanding money can open doors and create opportunities.

Today, I use that personal experience to help others navigate their own financial journeys. I believe that financial education should be accessible to everyone, and my goal is to empower individuals and families with the knowledge, confidence, and resources they need to create a stronger financial future.

Whether I'm providing one-on-one financial counseling, leading workplace financial wellness programs, or speaking to community and military organizations, my goal is to provide practical, unbiased financial education that inspires confidence and creates positive financial outcomes.
